Seeking safe and effective outdoor mosquito solutions to help consumers enjoy their yard and outdoor spaces without the annoyance and inconvenience of mosquito bites. Mosquitos are a common nuisance and disease spreading insect. In addition to being vectors of disease, one of the main reasons we want to tackle this pest is to allow people to enjoy outdoor activities more frequently – e.g., eating outside, spending time with family, and watching outdoor sporting events. Here in P&G Ventures, we are looking for existing, in market solutions which exist globally that are specifically designed to kill or repel mosquitos.

We are looking for a technology to seal paper packaging materials (paper only with no plastic coating) without using traditional glues or any other additive. For a sustainable packaging application, we're looking for a technology to seal or crimp kraft paper without using glue or plastic coating applied on the paper. Ideally, we want to seal 100% untreated paper without adding any other chemicals. Our preferred solution would be a folding of the packaging material

Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs) are multipotent precursor cells with the unique capacity to self-renew, proliferation and transformation into specialized cells present in many body tissues, such as muscle, adipose tissue, fibroblasts, cartilage, tendons, and nervous tissue. They are also characterized by the ability to affect the immune system by secretion of compounds that support the immune response directed among others against bacteria and parasites. They have properties enabling the secretion of chemical compounds that stimulate the formation of new blood vessels. All these attributes make them applicable in regenerative medicine, transplantology and in the treatment of many diseases. The umbilical cord blood and Wharton’s jelly MSCs are the sources from which MSCs are obtained. Due to the small amount of MSCs in the starting material, it is necessary to lead in vitro cultures to obtain sufficient numbers of cells that can be administered to the patient. Methods of isolation and culture of mesenchymal stem cells, including the growth medium, play a crucial role in obtaining the appropriate biological material that guarantees therapeutic success. Therefore, continuous improvement of procedures for isolating and in vitro culturing of MSCs is extremely important. The subject of the offer is a method of culturing mesenchymal stem cells using secretions from carnivorous plants, which increase cell adherence and proliferation, counteract their transformation into specialized cells, therefore, they longer maintain their pluripotency.

The Institute of Chemical Process Engineering of the University of Alicante has developed a system that allows the individual supply of disinfected air simultaneously to multiple users in closed spaces of common use. This system is characterised by the fact that it can be easily installed in any place (classrooms, cinemas, theatres, means of transport, hospitals, offices, banks, etc.), it is very economical, it allows the safety distance to be reduced safely, and therefore, to complete the capacity at 100% with practically no risk of contagion by the inhalation of air contaminated with COVID-19 or other pathogens that are transmitted by air. We are looking for companies interested in acquiring this system for commercial exploitation through patent licence agreement.

With the onset of COVID-19, Airable Research Lab is motivated to support our community during a time of uncertainty and stress. The importance of disinfection prompted our team to develop a liquid soap made from high oleic soybeans. The soybean oil leaves the hands feeling soft and moisturized, even after the repeated washings that are promoted as a safety measure against the virus.
